God hears you

I haven’t or have barely mentioned my new job. It’s wonderful! I actually sent a number of resumes to them over the last year of so. Persistence pays off.

I am now working at a Home for Children and Youth. I will be one of the teachers on campus. So far I have to say that I’m terribly impressed with the staff. Not only are they just plane nice people, they are extremely professional and highly qualified.

I’m having the best time going through training with them this week. It is with them as it is with all career fields dealing with children, they are, we are, I am constantly having to maintain certifications by attending classes, getting updated on the latest in all or specific fields.

As I spent all day yesterday learning and practicing de-escalation techniques, very physical, I’m too tired to say much more.

Don’t have any students yet, haven’t even gotten into my classroom, which I’m chomping at the bit to do, so not too much more I can say about it for now except…. thank you God for hearing my cries, knowing my needs and answering my prayers.
