tree huggers!!!!!
Have you heard about this? Sierra Club wants you to boycott Fox News and Home Depot because they disclaim the global warming theory. Why do nature lovers and God lovers have to be polar opposites? Makes me mad, makes me want to go to Home Depot and buy camping stuff, but they don't sell camping stuff!
I'm told that Sierra Trading Post, no connection to the other, is a Christian organization and it is. I found the founders testimony, plus they have good ON SALE stuff! Can't beat that with a stick.

However, sadly, many nature lovers haven't got clue one as to what Christianity actually entails, and many of them are caught up in what the apostle warned of in Romans (1:22-25)
"Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
"Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."
Yes, sadly, many of these "nature lovers" are worshipping creation itself instead of the Creator who made all things.
PETA is even worse in this regard than the Sierra Club; the sad lady who founded it is an atheist with no regard for the position of people in creation (mostly because she doesn't believe in "Creation"); she sees humans as a blight on the planet, and therefore accords more rights to animals than to people.
*shrugs*
We can always pray for these people, and show them that Christians can be good stewards of all things entrusted to our care. God promises that His word will not come back void, so if we keep on a-preachin' to these folk, we give them a chance for the Holy Spirit to convict them in their hearts of the rightness of the word we speak. =)
take care & God bless,
